There’s something magical about those early morning sessions, especially when they happen during the prime days of fall. The colors seem to burst with happiness, and the fall foliage sets a dreamy backdrop while capturing Christina and Ethan’s colorful engagement photos in beautiful Richland, Washington. As I look ahead, I can’t help but feel the excitement building for their upcoming spring wedding day in May 2024. They’re tying the knot at the stunning Tucannon Cellars!

MEET THE COUPLE

Christina and Ethan’s love story has unfolded over 4 1/2 years. It all began at Whitworth College in Spokane through mutual friends. Christina, a quiet and nerdy soul, met her charismatic and outgoing counterpart, Ethan, a talented soccer player. Their connection grew steadily throughout college, and when they graduated, they embarked on a new adventure, moving to the Tri-Cities.

In early July, Ethan proposed. He chose his family’s property in Friday Harbor for this moment, and it fell on Christina’s parents’ anniversary, adding even more sweetness to the occasion. With his little brother and sister by their side, Ethan whisked Christina away to a charming lighthouse overlooking the ocean. In a tender and heartwarming moment, Ethan got down on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage, to which she said yes!

As a couple who admitted to a touch of camera shyness, I was pleasantly surprised by the array of image styles Christina and Ethan requested. They were keen on a mix of serene, static poses, moments filled with romantic gestures, and the charm of candid captures – we wholeheartedly embraced them all! The timing of our session was spot on. The leaves had just started their transition, creating a stunning backdrop to their colorful engagement photos. The soft morning light graced our shoot, enhancing the emotions captured in their images. Christina and Ethan are so sweet and made this morning session a great time.
