HOW MELANIE AND JUSTIN’S WASHINGTON WEDDING AT BELLA FIORI GARDENS CAME TO BE

Melanie and Justin’s love story began in the sunny state of Arizona. Melanie was pursuing her dreams in optometry school while Justin was working at a local bank. Despite their different hometowns – Melanie from the Tri-cities and Justin from Kentucky – they were brought together in the Arizona desert.

Melanie has successfully graduated from optometry school, and Justin is now at PNC Bank, specializing in investments in Cincinnati. After a year and a half of navigating a long-distance relationship, their patience and love have paid off. Melanie moved to Cincinnati, where she began her career as an optometrist in October.

What makes their story truly special is their unwavering faith, which holds a central place in their lives. Reuniting in the same city has allowed them to share their Sunday church visits, a cherished experience they love.

Working with both families was an absolute delight. A pair of genuinely kind-hearted souls, the bride and groom sought an intimate moment away from prying eyes for their first look. Everyone respected their wish, enabling me to capture those precious, private moments for them. The church itself has a stunning rock and fountain feature behind the ceremony area, a must-have backdrop for the bride, which was a dreamy location for their vows. Melanie’s choice of a sweet and simple dress perfectly mirrored her personality, and those shoes – the bows on the back were so cute! The sparklers during their first dance were a surprise and added some fun to their photos.
