Carrie’s hometown is Tri-Cities, yet destiny led them both to the sun-kissed shores of California. With roots firmly grounded in SoCal, Peter’s family has a connection to the sunshine state. Their journey began in the college’s corridors, where music brought them together. While their paths briefly crossed during their freshman days, piano class solidified their friendship.

Eight years have passed since their first encounter, six of which they spent as a couple. They describe their relationship as funny, balanced, nerdy, and passionate. Both are music educators, but there is more beyond melodies. They love playing video games together, and Peter streams on Twitch. Carrie loves to cook. Weekends lead to afternoon dates trying out new places. In their company, each moment is a note in the beautiful composition of their love story that resonates with laughter, balance, and friendship.

Every wedding hosted at Promise Garden is simply beautiful. Their special day was no exception – a garden wedding that seemed plucked from a fairy tale. It was a delicate, airy atmosphere with elegant wedding decor and a burst of vibrant floral arrangements. The ceremony itself was intimate, with the majority being family members just so happy to be there celebrating. Peter’s brother assumed the role of the officiant, while their canine companion, Stella, added a personal touch as the precious flower girl.

They anticipated their first dance would be one of their favorite moments, and it was. I couldn’t wait to share their golden hour wedding photos. You can’t beat a Tri-Cities sunset. We wrapped up the day with their family and closest friends at their reception. It was a beautiful day!
