Blayke and Luis are set to tie the knot next spring at Le Jardin of Zillah. So, for their engagement photos, we had to take full advantage of the stunning fall foliage. The session was infused with autumn vibes, featuring warm tones and the golden glow of the changing seasons. It was a moment to soak in the beauty of this transitional time, capturing their love surrounded by nature.

LUIS AND BLAYKE’S FALL FOLIAGE ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS IN WASHINGTON

Blayke and Luis became acquainted while working as coworkers at a hardware store in Sunnyside. They started as friends, and it took about a year before he casually invited her out for pizza at Doc’s in Granger. Fast forward almost four years, and here they are.

The proposal happened this March, right after their anniversary, at the same spot where Luis asked her to be his girlfriend—a little hike in Prosser up in the hills. The celebration continued with a visit to Blayke’s dad’s house in Prosser, surrounded by family. Blayke’s 96-year-old grandma, who’s seen it all, glimpsed the engagement ring and jokingly shouted, “Finally!” Everyone in the family adores Luis, and Blayke’s grandma, in particular, has eagerly awaited Blayke’s engagement and marriage.

Blayke and Luis were set on an outdoor setting for their fall foliage engagement session, aiming for a casual vibe. Without a specific location in mind, we opted for a spot surrounded by trees and changing leaves. Blayke picked out a couple of dresses from my client closet, and both were incredibly easygoing and friendly. We lucked out with beautiful, warm fall weather.
